Our Strategy

MAVA developed its 2011-2015 strategy based on Luc Hoffmann’s vision for nature conservation and in the spirit of how he approaches this work. We defined three Strategic Priorities, each with associated Goals and then Objectives specific to each MAVA programme. These determine how we select and fund individual projects and programmes for our grants.

As a complement to our focus on biodiversity conservation, we are also aiming to help meet the challenges of growing pressure on the world’s natural resources.”
Lynda Mansson, MAVA Director General
